Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information chezmaeju.com collects and how we use it.

What we collect

• Reservations: your name, phone, email, party size, date and time, and any notes you add (for example an allergy or occasion). We use it to hold your table, send your confirmation and a reminder, and contact you about your visit.
• Email: if you write to us, we use what you send only to answer you.
• Settings on your device: the accessibility button saves your choices in your browser. They never leave your device.
• Technical data: our host (Netlify) keeps basic server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to run and protect the site.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site.

Who handles it

• Reservations are stored in our Google Workspace account (Google Sheets and Apps Script), and confirmation emails are sent from it.
• Maps and Instagram links go to Google and Meta. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply.

We don't sell your information

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation details so we can recognize returning guests and look after allergies and preferences. Ask us anytime and we'll delete them.

Your California rights

If you live in California you can ask what personal information we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. Email team@chezmaeju.com or call (510) 338-3572, and we'll respond within 45 days.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
